WEEK-END MATCHES.

The Rugby connoisseur has, a dainty menu to contemplate this week-end. Three great games are set down for decision. Poheke will meet Old Boys at the Park and will endeavor to hold hard to their present high championship position. Old Boys, however, are playing the . right sort of football at present and are not unlikely to upset calculations. Their game against Marists last week proves this. University, the present top of the ladder team, will get a real try-out m their match with Petone on the villagers' home ground. Petone's little "at homes" are trying affairs for visitors. The temperamental Athletic fifteen will try conclusions with Marists on the Basin Reserve and a bright and enterprising contest should result.
