NEW SHARE ISSUE.

An announcement is published elsewhere concerning an issue of increase of capital by the New Zealand Guarantee Corporation, Limited. The public are offered 150,000 £1 ordinary shares at a premium of 2s per share. •' The history of the Corporation, the pioneer ■ organisation m New Zealand for financing credit sales of motor vehicles, is shown to have been decidedly successful — a benefit to -trade and profitable to shareholders. Last ye^ar the preference shareholders received a dividend of 7 per cent, per annum, and the ordinary shareholders a dividend,- of 8 per cent, on amounts paid up. A 'hajf -yearly; dividend at the rate of 8 per cent was paid on ordinary capital m February last. - , , . . The volume of business transacted now approaches half a million, and there have been no losses of any kind. The Corporation is thoroughly established throughout the Dominion,'* and new capital can be profitably employed as soon as available. The business of the Corporation is providing credit accommodations for accredited motor traders and approved individuals, and, generally speaking, to supplement existing banking facilities. A lien is -retained on the property, until, final payment is made, and the, careful conservative' methods adopted by the Corporation have proved to be, a sound policy. It is expected that the whole of the issue now offered will be quickly taken up.
