Pat learned his cricket at the Collegiate School. He Is not such a stylish batsman as either Orr or Orton. but he is perhaps more consistent m his rungetting. He Is Just the man to open an Innings as he goes for the bowling from the Jump no matter how good lt may be. and is by no means easy to get rid of as he bats very soundly. He Is a nno fieldsman and as captain of a side Is hard to beat, as he knows how to get the best out of his team.
