A big picture came along m the Christmas season for which the uso of a small choir was desired for the singing of a carol.
Said he to one of the local choirmasters- "Can you fix me up a small party of half a dozen good singers to render the carol? I will give each of them a double ticket, to see the picture," "Certainly!" And they let It go at that.
But In the advt. m the local paper the young manager boosted the singing stunt by putting it In black and white that the carol would be rendered by a full choir of twenty voices'
And that choir-master brought along the full number.
