If 50 per cent, were added for the peoplo not Insured there would bo something like thirty million weeks lo to tho country. On an average of £2 per week there waa loss of £60.000.000. An enormous number of workers had died through 111-health, which might havo boon prevented, and as every mnn represented something like £600 m hard cash to nroduee him. cvpry time a worker died from some preventible disease that amount was lost to the community.
