THE SUIT FAKERS MAKING HAY WHILE THE SUN SHINES I I The last few years have seen the rise— and fall— of numerous quack Tailoring firms. Time, however, tests all things, and sooner or later such firms get their deserts. The Fakers are on the job again, trusting to make hay while the sun- shines, and when the clouds gather, will silently fade away. ' It can safely be said that the average man knows as little about the quality of BUit materials, and the making of suits, as he does about a problem m Algebra, but he is a trusting individual, and being anxious to save his hard-earned money, decides to take advantage of these "generous" quacks' offers. These Fakers themselves know as little — and care less — about the quality of the articles they sell, as the unsuspecting purchaser. Few of them can point to any experience m the Tailoring or Woollen trades, and few of them, actually employ any Tailors or Tailoresses. Their suits are made up by suit contractors at a very low price, which makes it absolutely impossible to put m good linings or good workmanship ; and many of the suiting materials are rank shoddy. To class such work as artistic tailoring productions, and charge twice as much as the articles are worth, is surely the limit of audacity? Fortunately, there are many firms who don't conduct their business on such lines. We claim to be one of them, and OUR RECORD' PROVES IT ABUNDANTLY. With over twenty years' experience m the Suit business to our credit, m a little oyer TWO YEARS we have built up— in our City, mark you— one of the largest - Tailoring businesses against plenty of competition. OUR ORDER SUITS are known all over Christchurch and surrounding Districts as absolutely reliable, and the BEST VALUE offering to-day. Every Suit we sell is MADE IN OUR OWN WORKROOMS. The ACDD TEST of Tailoring is repeat orders and recommendations, and these we get every day. Don't be gulled by advertised testimonials written when a man receives a suit. Do any of such testimonials say the writers have WORN the suits, say for twelve months? THAT'S the test, and those are the recommendations WE talk about, and get. Need we say more as to the merits of our suits? HAVING PROVED OURSELVES m our own City, and organised our business for further expansion, we intend to offer those people living at a distance the benefits of trading with us direct, by mail. YOU'LL BE BOTBRESTED m the offers we have to make. You must wear clothes, and you ought to buy the best value. WE CAN . GIVE IT! Watch Next Week's Paper For First Offer!
