"JOHNNY, GET YOUR GUN."

There can be one opinion and one only as to "Johnny, Get Your Gun" at the Grand Opera House, an* that opinion is. that it Is an Al, first-class and top-grade laughing show.- Mayhe one or two .amazingly miserable folk may have been along and have come away without raising a laugh, hut if so their cases are really serious. Louis Bennißon is the man who wrote the play, he is the man who directs it m a fatherly .way and -the man who makes it the success it is. Bennleon is a character. In the first place, when he grew big: enough, he was a real wild cowboy, then he was a stunt actor for tho movies, then a stago man and a playwright. If he was as good a cowboy m real life us he is on the screen or the stage he must have been kept In steady work. In the play tho cowboy goes East — a reversal of the townman's going West — un* he wakes up a family of cash and ton© m great stylo. Incidentally he turns out a very fine dud duke and sees that an heiress wins back a lot of valuable money and a husband worth having. Also he geta a wife for himself. The story is firstrate, but the dialogue is better, and that Is where the laughs come In. Tho supporting company has not ft gap In it, and right through the play is happy am? well balanced. It is a well-worth-while show.
