THE SISTINE CHOIR SOLOISTS.

The recent success of this splendid organisation m . Wellington must be fresh m the .minds of those who were fortunate enough to hear them;. Honors have been lavished thickly upon the soloists- m the South, and it is with feelings of the happiest expectancy that music lovers looked forward tq their return at the Town Hall. The Sistine Choir Soloists have undoubtedly done much for the development of music In New Zealand, and they have richly earned the compliments that have 'been bestowed upon them m £he way of civic receptions and acclamatory demonstrations of enthusiasm. The programmes during the present return season will be compiled from the most popular numbers m the boloists' extensive repertoire, and Illuminated by striking selections from the following grand operas:. — "La Forza," Del Destinb," "Tannhauser," "Moses m Egypt," "Pagliacci," "Cavalleria Rustlcana," II Trovatore," "La 1 Favorite," "La, Tosca," "Aida," "La Boheme," "Carmen" "Lohengrin" and VFaust.". An innovation will be the introduction of specially requested items into each programme byway of encores j thus most diversified compilations will be submitted that should appeal to all classes and all tastes. A full symphony orchestra will be conducted under the baton of the famous maestro, Emilio Casolari. The box plans for the return neaaon, which terminates on Tuesday next, are at the Bristol.
