Gordon Knocks Waters,

(By Cable — iSpecial to "Truth.") There was a wonderful light at the Stadium on Saturday night to a poor house. Harry Gordon, Sst 3 lbs (Melbourne), knocked out the brilliant Les Waters, Sst 51bs, m seventeen rounds. Waters was the faster of the two; and early had piled up a heap of points and 'had Gordon's face swollen, puffed and bleeding. After ten rounds he slowed up and Gordon came into his own. The Melbourne boy punched the body heavily and gradually wore Waters out. The end came m the seventeenth round, when Waters collapsed and had to be carried out of the ring. He was unconscious for a quarter of an hour. ,
