The return wrestling match between Theo Gudding and Jack Clarke took place at Auckland. on Saturday evening before a fairly large audience. Billed to decide tha heavy-weight championship of Australasia, the contest was by no means thrilling, andi at times It. was inclined to drag somewhat. Certain holds were barred by agreement between the wrestlers, but apparently Gudding forgot about this' and repeatedly he was cautioned by the referee, Mr. May. Early m the fourth session Gudding secured the first fall with a pinfall, but m the ninth session Clarke woke up and secured a, fall with a half -Nelson. Gudding, who had been repeatedly warned, was disqualified m the tenth session for using a strangle- hold and the verdict was awarded to Clarke.
