After a season of mild bellowdrama, which has proved an unqualified success, the -popular Palace of Varieties proposes, as from Saturday, to return to unqualified vaudeville. The proprietary is preparing a bomb that it promises will paralyse its patrons through sheer weight of merit, but realising that a shade of mystery always' adds a spice to even variety, lias refrained from making public the exact nature of the programme to be produced until the eve of the performance (Saturday).
