Miss Victoria. Drummond, the grand- daughter of the late Lor,d Amhurst, of Hackney, has just completed her apprenticeship as an engineer at the Lilybank Foundry, Dundee. This choice of an unusual career is only carrying out family traditions, for her grandmother was a skilled taxidermist and her mother an expert geologist. Her aunt; Mrs. Evelyn Cecil, is a free--woman of the Gardeners' Company. Two other relatives amused themselves painting the ceiling of Didllngton Hall, their former house m Suffolk, after a D'TJrbino design.
