THE STRAND.
After a successful week at the King's Theatre, "Serenade" will be the feature of the .Strand bill to-day. In the leading role is Miriam. Cooper, iwho made herself famous m "Intolerance," "The Birth of a Nation" and "The Oath.'' Miss Cooper plays the part of Maria Del Carmen and depicts m all .the Spanish coloring of the 'beautiful province of Magdelena, the adventures of the prettiest girl m town and Panchq, the son of tho Governor, George Walsh plays opposite Miss CoOper and gives a wonderful interpretation of Pancho, the son of the Spanish Governor.
