Wyns Badly Walloped.
His Great Go With Godfrey.
(By Cable — Special to "Truth.")
The Sydney Stadium was packed on Monday, when the Governor- General was again present. A glorious fight was witnessed 'between Godfrey, 9.5, and Arthur Wyns (Belgium), 9.1%. There was fierce hitting, but Godfrey's guard was superb and he landed ten blows to.Wyns's one. The heat was fearful, and both were weary. In the ninth round Godfrey was on the ropes, coolly covering till Wyns drew off when Syd. swung his right to the temple and Wyns fell with a crash. He attempted to rise at six but fell again without a blow.
Wallla crowned Godfrey amidst a scene of immense . excitement. Godfrey won ln every round.
