Only 60C0 were present The absentees made a big mistake for Jamlto, 8.18, offered strong opposition to the "knock out" king, and although Godfrey won sixteen out of seventeen rounds, the badly \battered Filipino kept on his feet Ha, was warned for low hitting, and eventually m the eighteenth round Jamlto walloped a heavy left to the shield of Godfrey, and the referee stopped the fight and crowned Godfrey. There was an extraordinary and unaccountable demonstration against the referee, but It was an obvious foul. In any caae, Godfrey was a sure winner oa point*.
