Catherine Barry (Mr. P. W. Jackson), married Robert Deey William Barry on May 7, 1906, at Wellington, .- and they lived at Christchurch. There was no issue of the marriage. In 1912 they were living m Auckland— on his people. He had been out of work for twelve months at this time, but later got a storeman's billet. He had cultivated a misguided and expensive habit of,; drinking whisky, and this made such inroads m his fifty "bob" a -week that petitioner had to go out and toil.
