The following cables anent Les Darcy's arrival m New- York, appeared m the Sydney newspapers:

"New York, December 23: — Les Darcy, the " Australian boxing champion, has arrived; v

Six managers on some steam- tugs met the vessel, and endeavored' to secure a contract with him. <
