The appeal of James Walsh and Robert Cox against a conviction and fine Inflicted by Magistrate Bailey at Christchurch last month, on a charge of keeping a common gaming, house, has bean set down for hearing at the Christchurch Supreme Court next Thursday (August 3). Tho case and the legal argument, which promises to be of unique interest, will be duly reported m these columns.
