Dear "Troth," — To settle an argument, with its coincident coin, I would like "Truth," or some follower of athletics among your innumerable readers to say whether 50fL or over ever has been Jumped m New Zealand at public competition for that good oldtime lepp of a running hop, step, and Jump. (Name, date and place.) Also what is the greatest distance covered m this form of athletic competition by Jack Dryburgh, a specialist m this Jump some twenty years or more ago, up the East Coast of the NorA Island. — Yours, etc, LEPPER.
