, Mischa Elman Season. The first? of Mischa Elman's concerts in* Christchurch will be given at the Theatre RoyaL to-night (Saturday). Considerable interest is being manifested m this musical marvel, who comes to Christchurch m the zenith of his wonderful success and accredited the greatest violinist m the world. His visit, therefore, from an educational -standpoint, creates a big impression m musical circles. Associated with Mischa Elman m his Christchurch concerts are Mile. Eva Gauthier, the bril-. liant French -Canadian mezzo-soprano, and Mr. Percy Kahu, pianist, who has been with Mischa. Elman for six years.
