The above case of tout Liddle's had a bearing on another case that cropped up suddenly on Monday. The interested party m this affair was the plump .dame, Isabel^ Jolly, already so often mentioned m; despatches. By some wireless means or other, little, plump Isabelle, languishing m the Salvarmy Homo, Caversham, got to hear of the stone- jugging of her admirer and protector, Mr. Liddle. The upshot of the communication was the stampeding of BeUe, m full regalia, from the Holy 4 and her reappearance m the old familiar slum off the foreshore.
