OPERA HOUSE.

Brennan- Fuller Vaudeville

During the last few weeks, Christchurch has been just about swamped with ragtime and tango, but m spite of this there is something decidedly fresh m Hayes and R'lves' turn at the Opera House, which seems to place the much worn Yankee on a pedestal of its own . The Waldrons are presenting a rip-snorting absurdity labelled "The Silly Burglar," which for fun is hard to beat. Miss Muriel Andrews just about commands her violin.; to talk, making a big hit nightly, both with her instrumental and vocal items. As entertaining as ever . are Armstrong and Hawarth m a brand new singing and dancing turn. Ray and Ray contribute something particularly pleasing m the U.S.A. line, and Billy Watson keeps his end up as a comedian of top-notch order. Vincent, Arthur and Oliver and Harold Arthur back up the programme with first-class vocalities. Bailey's Posing Dogs are announced as one of the big attractions for next week. •
