Inter-College Championships.

The Universities' sports meeting eventuated at Newtown Park "on Easter Monday. New college records were establlshed tB the three mile flat, one mile walk, and hammer-throwing. Victoria College easily retained the title of champion,, securing 27 points, against Otago (9). Canterbury (6) and Auckland (5). Following are the results: — Putting tho "Weight Championship. — J. M. Boyne (Otago), 33ft 6%1n. 1; J. Mansell (Canterbury), 33ft s&ln. 2; C. A. Craigou (Victoria College), 3._ One Mile Flat Championship. —lL Williams and E. IT. Seddon (Victoria College), 1 and 2 respectively. Won easily. Time, 4mln 52 4-ssec. This event carries with it the De la Mare Challenge Cup. 220 yds Flat Championship.—R. L. Chrlstio (Otago), 1: C. F. Forsdick (Auckland), 2. Christie was In splendid form, and won comfortably. Time, 23 7-10 sec. Long Jump Championship.—B. Egley (Victoria College), 31ft, l; W, Alexander (Otago), 20ft 5%1n. 2-, J. B.
