Frank Ramsay, a man about 30 years of age, was brought before the Magistrate's Court, Christchurch, on a warrant dtwring the week, at the instance of Mary Jane Hobbs, on a charge of being the father of her unborn illegitimate child and attempting to leave the Dominion without malang adequate provision for its maintenance. Defendant was remanded until August on bail, self m £100, and one surety of £100.
