A pleasing programme has been presented at His Majesty's Theatre during ! the week, the menu comprising drama, comedy-drama, low comedy, scenic reproductions, and instructing pictures m rich profusion. "The Angel of Dawson's Claim," an American Biograph film occupied tbe prcjmier place, and is a drama m minature with more than a vein of pathos running through it. A yoong miner takes a fancy to and adopts a little orpham girl, and, being unused to children, places her m the charge of the daughter of an older digger ; the. daughter, being impressed by the young man's devotion to the child, falls m. love ,with him herself, and a bjappy ending ensues^ Drama is also represented m "The Way of the World," which possesses peculiar interest, "Lieutenant Rose, R.N., and the Gun-Ruimcrs," a series of very exciting incidents, and r 'Capital v. Labor," m which a clergyman, by using his influence with some strikers who purpose killing their millionaire employer and his daughter, and at the same time obtaining for them their demands, wins the heart and hand of the capitalist's daughter whose life he has saved. ".Venetian Firemen" is educational and instructive. Picturesque scenery is shown m "A Motor Ride Through the Gorge of De La Hault" and "Swedish Canals" respectively. '.'lt Pays to Advertise" is a representation of farcical comedy. There are other excellent pictures shown. The customarymatinee "Will be held this afternoon.
