A: woman: appeared, before Magistrate : Bartholomew, at the Dunedin Police Court on Monday, and applied for a prohibition order against' her husband. The.S.M. : Is^ he drinking to excess ? Wife: I think he takes a little more than is good for him. TheiS.M. : But you must convince me that- \ue is drinking heavily. Wife : I don't think , I should be asked so many, questions. He's my husband. The SJM. : However, you will have to prove excessive drinking. Wife : Well, I think he is drinking more than usual. The SJVL granted, the order, chiefly because it was not contested.
