HIS MAJESTY'S.

The Royal Pictures.

The usual change of programme was presented at His Majesty's on Wednesday, evening Jast, and proved up to the usjuaJ excellent standard. The Courtenayplace theatre is certainly Wellington's home of motion photography, and nightly .the seating accommodation is taxed to the utmost so great is the rush. The management have rightly the requirements of patrons and the result is a programme full of interest, instructive, amusing and thrilling. Perhaps the most interesting film this week is that portraying Jerusalem as it is to-day, .while the Towns-Parry boat race gives one an idea of what the Englishman is made of." "The Happiest Day of her Life" is a "charming little story without words, and the depiction of John Gilpin's famous ride is given without a fault or flicker. Historic scenes, the comedy and dramatic element are also m evidence, the programme being a very lengthy one. The usual matinee will be given this afternoon.
