During the next session of Parliament Minister! for Justice McGowan intends to submit proposals for. an increase of screw for policemen, and it is also possible that prison warders will be treated likewise.- The reason for the rise is, of course, .the high cost of living and ,t«he increasing burdens on the slop's shoulders.
