Last week the New Zealand horses Contender and Capulet were shipped to Sydney by the Warrimoo, andi will <be given a chance to earn distinction m Australia. Along with Contender went Paddy McLaughldn, and the owner-trainer expects to win faoes with the black son of Gold Reef and Content. A- Oliver and W. Young- will also make the trip.. The latter will pilot Capulet over the battens, and the combination of the Lethe gelding and' the Feilding horseman should prove a formidable \o>ne. Good hurdlers ' seem to 'be at a premium m New South Wales just a;t present, and Capulet should have no difficulty m winning raoes there- In addition to thej jjockeys named, George Price leaves- for Sydney by this afternoon's boat. The Wanganui horseman will spend about two months m Australia, during which time he will probably be m the saddle at some .of the meetings round, about Sydney, and .Melbourne. . . At present .
