Why Is that, some women, or young girls, are fond of donning men's, at.tft« and parading the thoroughfares now and . again? Is it out of pure devilment, or; do they think it a new sensation, or what is it at all? In last issue of '•Truth" there was an acount of the capers of Bertha Rotciv, or Victor, .whose, pranks were chronicled m Sydney, and who is apparently a low, dissolute female who purposes masqueraded m man's attire. Whether Ihe -actions of "Boy Bertha" m the northern capital has set others of her sey wondering what it is like to act Ihe giddy goat m male . attire isn't known, but a Christchurch woman look the game on the other night, hut was found out by friends.
