TO LONDON TOWN.
.Last Thursday, per the Tongariro, Mr H. Evans, jnr., late of Cable's foundry, left for Home m order to gain further experience m engineering work. "Harry," a& he is familiarly knpwn/in swimming and football circles m the Empire City, is a popular and estimable young fellow, and the wish of all is that good fortune and best of luck will attend him. On Wednesday evening last Harry was farewelled by a number of friends, who presented him with a dressing case and a -case of silver-mounted pipes. Harry is the son of Mr H. Evans, chief of the mechanical staff of "Truth" newspaper.
