CHURCHILL SEES THE POPE
DISCUSSES THE SITUATION. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received January 20, 9.40 p.m.) ROME, January 19. Mr Winston Churchill had half an hour’s interview with the Pope, who discussed the situation in China, especially with reference to danger to Christian missions. The Government gave a dinner to Mr Churchill in the evening, Mussolini being present.
