THE EXTRA PASSENGER
HAPPY EVENT ON BOARD,
An addition to the passenger list Of the steamer Remuera was recorded in the annals of the vessel on the voyage from England. The Stranger was the new-born son of Mr and Mrs Twin, passengers on board, and he first filled his lusty lungs with the healthy sea off Pitcairn Island on January Ist, as tlie ship ploughed irewav to New Zealand shores.
This Twin —and yet without a twin .—is doing well, and was greeted on arrival by ten other members of the Tain family, who were making their wav to the fresh fields ofC-qda Own. Otic of the lad’s Christian names will be “Pitcairn.”
