FIFTY THOUSAND EMIGRANTS
TO AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON. January 9. Last year 33,689 assisted migrants were sent to •Australia and New Zealand, making, with those paying their passages, 50,000, which is a post-war record. The number includes 12,200 for New Zealand. The number of, Assisted migrants of all classes who went to Canada totalled 130,509, incliiding 47,554 from Britain.
