A voyage of exceptional fine weather, W'th calm seas, was the experience of the Union Company’s freighter Waihora, which arrived in the stream at Wcllingc ton yesterday from Calcutta. The Waihora sailed from Port Chalmers on Saturday, October 23rd, for Newcastle, where she arrived on October 29th after a good, passage across the Tasman Sea. After bunkering at Newcastle slie left on Octobor 30th. for Calcutta, via Torres Strait, Singapore, and Molucca Strait. 2 Strait -was cleared on November <th, Singapore was passed on November l<th, and Malucca Strait tho following day. Leaving Malucca Strait the Waihora ran into moderate monsoons, which lasted until arrival at Calcutta on November 23rd. General cargo, including woolpacks, gunnies, etc., were loaded, nnd tho Waihora cleared Calcutta on December 7th for Wellington direct, via Capo Leeuwin. which was abreast on Do-* cembor 27th. Tim only had weather the vessel experienced was from December *~-na to December 24-th, when she encountered a rough head sea. Fino weather and calm seas from Calcutta, except for tho three days, ruled until arrival hero yesterday. Wilson’s Promontoiy was abeam cm January 4th. Captain J. ROTORUA’S MOVEMENTS. Tho New Zenlnnd Shipping Company advise that tho liner Rotorua, now at Bluff completing discharge of her London cargo, commences Homeward loading there, and leaves on Frirlnv for Tima ru. Lyttelton and Wellington, to fill up. She is scheduled to clear Wellington finally on January 29th for Southampton nnd London, via Panama and Curacao.

WEST CALERA FOIt AUSTRALIA. At present discharging Pacific Coast cargo under the agency of Burns, Pliiip and Company, the American steamer West Calera leaves Wellington this week for Australian ports to complete. PORT BOWEN FOR LYTTELTON. The 0. and D. Lino advise that the steamer Port Bowen was to leave Wellington late last night for Lyttelton, thence Dunedin, to complete her discharge of Liverpool cargo. She will later load for Home ports at Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, Waikokopu and Napier, and is scheduled to tako her final departure from tho last-named port on February 4th for London, via Tana ,ma. TREVORIAN SAILS TO-DAY. Tho A. and A. Line advise that the steamer Trevorian is to leave Wellington at noon to-day for Lyttelton, tlienco Dunedin, to complete' discharge of New York cargo. LIONEL IfOR AUCKLAND. The Norwegian motor-ship Lionel, at present discharging Texas cargo at Wellington under the auspices of tho Amolienu Trading Company, leaves tonight for Auckland, thence Australian ports, to complete. REMUERA FROM HOME! With passengers, mails and cargo, the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Remuera arrived in the stream at Wellington at 12.15 p.m. yesterday from London and Southampton, via Curacao, Panama and Pitcairn Island. After pratique was granted the liner berthed at No. 1, south, Queen J s wharf, to clisWiibark her Wellington and North Island pasengers and mails. The Remuera loaded her cargo at London and left on December 3rd for Southampton, where she arrived at 4.50 a.m. tho following day. At Southampton passengers and mails were taken on board, and the vessel cleared there at 3 p.m. on December 4tk for Curacao, which was reached at 6 a.m. on December 17th after a good passage across tho Atlantic. After taking bunker oil on .board the Remuera sailed from Curacao at 3 p.m. the same day and arrived at Panama at 5 p.m. on December lfrth. Transit through the canal was given the next day, ami Balboa was reached at 1 p.m. A stop of five and a half hours was made at Balboa, and tho Remuera left for Pitcairn Island, which was reached .at 10.40 a.m. on December 31st. At 1 p.m. the same day tho vessel left for Wellington and arrived as above. Except for tho last three days, when the Remuera experienced a fresh gale with a heavy S.S.W. swell, the trip down the Pacific was good. From London to Wellington the vessel averaged 13.7 knots. Company, the master of the steamer Northumberland expects tho vessel to arrive at Auckland daybreak on Thursday from Liverpool, The vessel, which is bringing cargo for discharge at Auckland, Nnpier, Wellington, Lyttelton anil Port Chalmers, is due here about January 3rd. TRELISSICK FROM MONTREAL. An arrival in the stream at Auckland •Friday night was the Hain Line steamer Trelissick from Montreal.
