MAN BURNED AT THE STAKE WHILE MOB DANCED ABOUT HIM. Australian and N. 7.. Gable Association VIENNA, January 9, A hideous sample of lynch law iff reported from the Polish town of Gzcnseichan. Peasants, exasperated b.v persistent thefts and the inability of the police to find the offender, organised a search, found a man, took him to the market square, and tied him to a stake. Logs were piled up to his neck and then set on fire. The peasants drank and danced wildly till death ended the victim’s agonising erics. The police arrested 25 of the ringleaders.
