In the junior A game between Petone and Kilbirnie on Saturday last Petone scored 110 and 111 (Martin 31, Pointon 26, A. Hamilton 27, Edwards 211, and , Kilbirnie 160 and 59 (Algar 68, M. Brown 40). Bowling for Petone Barber took five wickets for 18 runs, Abrim eight for 70 and six for 70. H. Algar secured eleven for 70 and H. Moss four for 67 for Kilbirnie. SNIFF UP OR GARGLE FUIENIOL “I can’t remember the words of that new song,” said the girl, returning from the revue. “That makes it easier,” said her father. “Now all you’ve got to do to make home happy is to forget the tune.” Machines for filling milk-bottles at the rate of 2000 an hour were recently exhibited in London.
