GERMANY MUST REPAY
WAR LEVIES IN BELGIUM MIXED COURTS DECISION. (Published in the “Times.”) (Received December 30, 8.16 p.m.) v LONDON, December 29, “The Times” correspondent at Brussels says that during the German occupation of Belgium the military courts exacted levies on a number of towns, to pay for damage allegedly don© to German property by crowds at the outbreak of war. A mixed tribunal has now ordered that Germany shnll repay to Antwerp 1,000,090 francs, with costs.
