ROYAL VISIT TO NEW ZEALAND
DUCHESS OF YORK’S DRESSES. It is interesting to read that at the recent textile exhibition held in Manchester in connection with the Civic Week celebrations, there was on, view the cloths chosen by H.R.H. the Duchess of York, which H.R.H. has consented to accept from the Manchester manufacturers, and which she will wear on the forthcoming Empire tour. The fabrics have been specially designed to show the development of the textile industry in Manchester, and will no doubt cause considerable interest to users of Manchester-woven fabrics.
