SUMMER WEATHER
HOTTEST DAY THIS YEAR. W ednesday was the hottest day in Wellington during the present summer, the mercury m the shade sliowing 74.7 degrees. This is the highest temperature recorded since January, when the maximum was 81.1 degrees. The whole of the Dominions is jnst now experiencing warm and humid conditions, and, although light rain has fallen on the east roast, .conditions generally have been fine.
