CYCLING CONTEST
EIGHT HOURS’ RACE. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, December 5. Eleven terns of two men each competed in an eight hours' cycling race at the Stadium on Saturday and the results were:—Watson and Carey 1: Mackie and Henderson 2; Bright Laskey 3; Marshall and Scruise (Australia) 4. Seven teams finished. There were several minor accidents. Fritz Holland and Weir were admitted to hospital with slfgfit concussion, but their injuries are not serious.
