Ter Press Association. HAWERA. November 11. At the auction sale a small lot of thoroughbred horses at the instance of C. J. Preston, in order to close a partnership. were sold. Benzora. in training, was purchased by Mr J. Carlson (Eltham) for 925 guineas. The brood mare. Lady Ora, with foal at foot by Bisogne. was purchased by C. J. Preston for 20a guineas.
