A most, remarkable thing happened at a local estate office recently. A gentleman instructed the agent in question to sell his property, and within 55 minutes it was sold. The owner was absolutely staggered. He said he had heard of some quick business being transacted in his time, hut this “beat the hand.” As a matter of fact the same agent did almost a similar thing three times during the saihe week. It just shows whit a demand there is for house propertv in Wellington, and what an enormous number of people are always rcadv to purchase property when the price_ is reasonable. Another such proposition is advertised for sale bv the very same agent in to-day’s “New Zealand Times.” R. Leslie Jones, real estate agent, of 101. Willis street, is the person referred to. He is also a member of tho Real Estate Institute of Wellington. —Advt.
