Mr "Wanklyn. editor of the “New Zealand Stud Book,” is seriously ill with jaundice, says a cable from Montreal. Mr Wanklyn was, some years ago, one of the best known sporting officials in New Zealand, being from 1890 to 1920 secretary of the Canterbury Jockey Club and also of the New Zealand Racing Conference. The publication of the “New Zealand Stud Bock” was undertaken by Mr Wanklyn in the first instance at the command of the Racing Conference, and has since been published entirely under his personal supervision.
