Statistics showing the effect of comj pulsory voting indicate that 91.39, and | 91.75 per cent of the electors voted at the general election in November last and the referendum, respectively. I At the 1925 election 285,187 persons | failed to vote, and 135,765 gave valid ; and sufficient reasons for not doing 1 so.
