NEW PRINCESS THEATRE

TWO EXCELLENT FILMS. The new Paramount picture, topping the New Princess bill to-day, ‘ The Grand Duchess and the Waiter,” is a picturisation of Alfred Savoir's celebrated play of the same name, which reeentlv scored a tremendous success both in Europe and in America. The sparkling story, which is regarded as one of the best ever written by the rainons French playwright, was first produced in Paris and later appeared in England. With Elsie Ferguson and Basil Ratlibone in the leading roles, it was put upon the American stage, and played at the Lyceum Theatre in New York. The heroine of the picture is Florence Vidor, a haughty Russian Grand Duchess, who is forced to flee to Paris following the rise of revolutionists in her home country. Adolphe - Mo njo u portrays the part of an adventurous young cavalier of the Boulevards who, for the love of Miss Vidor, masquerin aid of the Muritai School funds, suite that he may be ncnr her always. .
