Acceding to numerous ‘requests this society, for its third presentation of the year 1926, is making a happy and interesting departure from its previous policy of staging serious plays It has decided to do one of Millie’s latest and cleverest, comedies ill throe, acts, namely, “Ariadne Or Business hirst, which met with such success in I/ondon last vear, with Miss Fay Compton as Ariadne. This play will he preceded at I.i-i sharp bv the late Olipliant Down’s delight fill Pierrot Fantasy in one net. entitled “Tim Maker of Dreams.” Mrs F.. J. Fawcett.. Miss Lmiise Fitzherberf, Miss K. htnrker. Miss Constancy Aforioe, Miss . Thyra Baldwin, and Messrs Vivian Rhine!, P. i>. Broad, W. S. Waiiehon, Norman Bvrne. and E. S. Baldwin will be included in the two specially selected casts. Mr Leon de Manny is arranging the entr’acte music, and the Messrs S’coullar Company arc supplying the furniture. The box plans for the three nights
season (commencing next Tuesday) are now available at the Bristol. The society’s director, Mr Leo du Chateau, will be in charge of the productions.
