CONCERT^AT PAHAUTANUI

On Wednesday evening last the Plimmerton “All Blax” Nigger Minstrel Troupe, consisting of Messrs F. Barlow, NY. Barlow, G. Tinney, F. Ross, J. NY. Johnson, \Y. Sheppard, NY. JBoyd, S. Martin and W. Martin, gave a concert in the local hall in aid of the school funds. Quite a number of outside visitors came along including a crowd from Plimmerton, ah<> the local people turned up in good force to listen to a very line programme given by the troupe. A number of encores were called lor during the evening. The corner men, namely, Messrs F. Barlow F. Ross (bones, J. NY. Johnson Ttamboh and G. Tinney (tambo), who were gaily dressed, kept"the audience merry with their local hits and jokes. Mr Mexted in a few well chosen remarks, thanked the troupe lor their assistance. After the concert a very enjoyable dance was given, music being supplied by M isses Xieol and Saunders. Extras were played by Mr NY. Martin, w*io also accompanied the minstrels.
