The Miners’ Federation has issued a manifesto dealing with the situation arising from tho recent conferences with the Mining Association and the Government. The manifesto states that the federation is prepared to negotiate on the question of wages, hut reveals that tha man are as adamant on tho questions of the seven-hour day and a national agreement.

Tho miners’ executive meets on Monday to consider the result of the Government inteiview, and other matters. It will also meet the Labour members of the House of Commons in view of Tuesday’s debate in Parliament on the renewal of the emergency legislation. The debate promises to be very lively.
