TURKISH PLOTTERS HANGED FIVE OTHERS BANISHED. Router’s Telegram. CONSTANTINOPLE, August 27. The four sentences of death, on Djavid Bey, Nazin Bey, Naili Bey, and Ivilmi Bey, were carried out at midnight. Five other members of the Committee of Union and Progress, including Roouf Bey and Rahmi Bey, were sentenced to perpetual banishment. AH tlie others were acquitted. The sentences were imposed as the result of the second trial, arising out of an alleged plot against the Turkish President (Mustapha ICemal Pasha). Fifteen other conspirators were executed on July 14th last. “AFTER ME THE DELUGE” (Received August 29, 5.5 p.m.) Djavid Bey, before his execution, said: “This is the end. After me the deluge.” Naili Bey asked the hangman to give liis oompliments to the president of the tribunal, whom he knew well. Ho described himself as feeling like the victim of a motor accident. While ICilmi Bey was being hanged a pulley jammed, and a second attempt had to be made.
